How does Ponder work?

Every day at midnight, Ponder releases a new question to everyone. You answer the question — picking from a set of options — and then immediately see how your friends responded. Your answer is locked in before you can see anyone else's, so responses are always honest.

Why can't I see my friends' answers before I answer?

That's the whole point! We hide friends' answers until you've committed to your own. It prevents anchoring bias and keeps everyone's response genuine. Once you answer, everything unlocks instantly.

How do I add friends?

Search for your friends by username inside the app. Both you and your friend need to follow each other to see each other's answers.

Is Ponder private? Does it have ads?

Ponder is completely ad-free. We don't sell your data or your answers to anyone. Your profile and answers are only visible to people you've mutually connected with — never to strangers.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile and all your answers. If you need help, email us at helpwithponder@gmail.com.

I found a bug. How do I report it?

Please visit our Feedback page to submit a bug report, or email helpwithponder@gmail.com with a description of the issue, your device model, and OS version. Screenshots are super helpful!

How often does the question change?

Once per day. A new question goes live at midnight in your local time zone. Previous questions aren't archived — part of what makes Ponder special is the shared, real-time experience.

Can I suggest a question?

Yes! Head to our Feedback page and submit a question idea. We read every submission and love hearing from the community.
