Account Deletion

You can delete your Ponder account directly from the app at any time:

1. Open the Ponder app on your device
2. Navigate to your Profile by tapping the profile icon in the bottom navigation
3. Tap the Settings icon (gear) in the top right corner
4. Tap "Delete Account"
5. Review the warning information about what will be deleted
6. Tap "Delete Account" to proceed
7. Confirm by tapping "Delete Forever" in the final confirmation dialog

Your account will be immediately deactivated and all data will be queued for permanent deletion.

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently deleted:

• Your profile information (username, display name, phone number)
• Your profile photo/avatar
• All answers you have submitted to daily questions
• All comments you have made on friends' answers
• Your friend connections and friendship requests
• Your push notification preferences and device tokens

• Error logs and crash reports (anonymized, retained for up to 90 days for app stability)
• Aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics

• Your account is immediately deactivated and inaccessible upon deletion request
• All personal data is permanently deleted from our database within 30 days
• Anonymized error logs are retained for up to 90 days, then automatically purged

If you are unable to access the app to delete your account, you may request account deletion by contacting us directly:

Email helpwithponder@gmail.com with subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include the phone number associated with your Ponder account. We will process your request within 30 days.
